Another classic I recently looked back at on Tubi TV is Dracula from 1979 with Frank Langella, and it is scarier and more amazing than I remembered it. It really gets right to the point from the start, and never lets down, with the boat coming to shore steered by a dead captain at the beginning with Jonathan Harker approaching the boat, mentioning his visit to Castle Dracula with the forms and contracts for Dracula to move to England, Reinfield being the one handling the luggage before being bit by Dracula to become the way he did, etc. That last one is also still one of the better bat transformation scenes in movie history. This is also the one where Mina and Lucy swapped roles, which did not ruin the story for me or too many people that I'm aware of. Frank Langella really went all out portraying the role of Dracula in this one, and those who thought his portrayal was just a Bela Lugosi rip off did not see this movie in its entirety. Their description is too far off. This is also one where Dracula really gave one of the better fights against the mortals with setting the large wooden cross on fire, reversing the stake into Dr. Van Helsing, etc. They needed pure luck to have Dracula accidentally caught onto a hokk and dragged up into the sunlight to finally defeat him, then with the unique classic ending with his cape flying off into the sunlight over the ocean. Out of all the Dracula movies ever, I couldn't list just one as my all time favorites, but this i definitely one of the better ones by far.

Saw this a long time ago, nice to know it's on Tubi. That place is a gold mine for horror movies, though I do wish they had a dedicated Halloween section for the season. I know they have Halloween themed movies, it would just be nice to have them grouped together this time of year without having to search or browse for them, like Hulu does with Huluween.

Yes, Tubi also has the Nosferatu from 1979 and Count Dracula from 1970, which are two more of the better Dracula movies out there. The list of classics and rare gems on Tubi could go on forever. It is like a gold mine for horror movies and other classic gems as well.

I saw either Phenomena or Suspiria (I forget which one) for the first time on Tubi. They should put a donate now button on their site and tons of people would donate.

Tubi is one of the best streaming channels out there. I could probably just get by on that and couple of other free streaming sites if I didn't like The Kitchen and Guy Fieri so much.
