Ok, this is it folks, the last marathon of the year. And this time, it's anything goes! A movie a day for the month of December and they can be any movies you want. Like holiday movies? This the place. Didn't get you fill of action in November? Watch away.
Point is, these can be any movies you like. Got some you've never gotten around to watching? Catch up here. And remember, your 13 Days of Creepmas movies count as well. This is the last one til next August, so let's make these lists awesome! You can post all the movies you watch here.
Let's rock it out! See you there December 1st.

I have so many movies I need to watch it's ridiculous. I'm trying to use this month to help with the idiotic amount of movies I own.
I need help.

Not all of the movies I normally look back at in December are horror, with some examples being "The Nativity Story," "A Christmas Story," different versions of "A Christmas Carol," sometimes "Christmas Vacation," and I was impressed with the Netflix original, "Christmas Chronicles" with Nicholas Cage playing Santa Claus. Some of the Christmas horrors I normally look back at are definitely the original "Black Christmas" from 1974, "Silent Night, Bloody Night;" "Terror In Toyland," "Don't Open 'Til Christmas," "Krampus(2015)", "A Christmas Horror Story" with William Shatner, the "Silent Night, Deadly Night" series, "Krampus: The Reckoning," and I actually do like the grindhouse look to the Krampus movie from 2013 and its sequel, despite a lot of others don't. I might also look back at the first "Mother Krampus," which is not that bad, but the sequel has some of the worst staged combat I ever seen, along with really bad editing, so I might skip that last one this year. "Slay Belles" is another comedy horror about Santa Claus and Krampus that is not great, but entertaining and worth either a one time or occasional look, that I might also look back at this year.

I posted this link in another section before, but here is a Christmas promo for a feature length documentary on zombies and zombie movies that the Walking Dead was promoting on their website for a few years that can also be on topic for this thread as well!

DVDecember isn't about horror, it's actually any movies you want to watch and a really good chance to knock out some movies that maybe you just haven't seen yet. The 13 Days of Creepmas only runs from the 1st through the 13th and that's all horror. Holiday themed horror is fine, but it doesn't have to be holiday themed, just horror.
Just a last hurrah before January and then no marathons again until August. Love to have you in on it!
BTW, I love A Christmas Horror Story, we watch that every year. And I love Krampus, from 2015.

Just curious, what did you think of Krampus from 2013? I personally like the 1970s style grindhouse look and vibe it has myself.

I don't know if I've seen the 2013 version. The one I was talking about was the one from 2015 with Toni Collette and Adam Scott, which I liked a lot. Loved the various things being possessed and coming to life, also kind of a sad ending and a good cast.
Just the whole thing came together right, I thought. I watch it every year now.

I finally got the DVDs I ordered in December not too long ago. One is "Danger: Diabolik," which is not a horror film, but is directed by the cinematic genius Mario Bava. It is like a James Bond movie, only about a criminal genius who is outwitting the law and Italian government with a spoiled girlfriend. The other is "How To Eat Friend Worms," which was fun to see the book finally brought to live action.

Glad they got to you and you enjoyed them! I'm waiting on Scream to come to digital, just to see.
