Man, I was expecting a lot more. A lot more. Oh well. Maybe you'll like it.

I finally saw that one, and found it surprisingly good, like Halloween 2018 and Wrong Turn 2021. I love the action and suspense, as well as the humor. I also like the tribute they showed for Wes Craven. I found it a lot better than a lot of the newer horror films on bigger budgets from recent years, which may or may not be saying anything, depending on which one. I have read a lot of negative posts on this one, but I am glad I decided to give it a chance anyway. I am still yet to see the new Ghostbusters, Halloween Kills, and the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Glad you enjoyed it. I found it a little boring, especially since there had been so long between movies and they made this seem like it would blow people away. But, I find it harder and harder to actually like a lot of newer horror.
I felt the same about Halloween Ends, could have been a lot better. I watched the new Texas Chainsaw as well, it was predictable, good kills, found the story a little lacking, but again, I tend to go in expecting a lot on these newer films which is probably why I'm disappointed a lot. Hope you enjoy those when you get to see them and let us know what you thought.

Again, I am still yet to see Halloween Kills and the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but I will hopefully see those soon. I have had others who like Halloween 2018 say they did not like Halloween Kills nearly as much, if at all, but I like what I have seen of it so far. I will give those fair shots when I get the chance, and go from there.
