This is another interesting and intense Italian giallo cult classic from the early 1990s. It begins with a weird seance talking to the spirit of somebody who was murdered, wanting to find out who did it, followed by a huge storm outside, then causing power failure inside, followed by another murder outside. A surviving young girl from that night gets hospitalized in a local clinic for her troubles and anorexia. She attempts suicide, only to have a young guy driving by stop to save her from it. He then tries to help find out who killed her parents and guests, only to have the killer murder those they encounter. There are a lot of great twists and turns making it look like the killer is one person, then have it look like somebody else. Even after the bodies have been found, more twists and turns happen, and even after the killer is finally revealed, most twists and turns happen after then. It really keeps interest with one eye opening scene after another. Argento really outdid himself with this one. Fans of his stuff will not be disappointed with this one.

Sounds good. I need to watch more Argento. I liked Suspiria, Deep Red and Opera, but it's been a really long time since I've seen any of them. I never bothered with the Suspiria remake and I didn't even know Phenomena was his. I see that on some of my channels but never checked it out. Trauma sounds like a good one, I'd like to see it.

Think I've only seen this once but it was decent and from what I remember, the killers motives made sense. A lot of people dislike Argento's later work and although I've not seen a lot of his newer films, there's some good ones there to. I didn't think sleepless was bad either.
