Long time WWF referee Dave Hebner has passed away at the age of 73 from an undisclosed illness, though he did suffer from Parkinson's disease.
Hebner was most well known in the WWF for the angle involving his twin brother, Earl Habner in which Hulk Hogan lost the WWF Championship to Andre the Giant. Hebner was a referee in the WWF starting in 1986. Following his retirement as a referee Hebner became a road agent until being released from his contract in July of 2005. He debuted as a referee for Total Nonstop Action later in 2005.
Hebner was married for 43 years to his wife Rebecca and his twin brother Earl and his nephew Brian were also referees.
RIP and condolences to his family.

Yeah, I read about that too just never got to making a post about it. I remember him more as, I guess, the handler for Andre the Giant than a referee. He was 68 and from what I've read he had no serious illnesses, but that doesn't really mean anything as he could have just kept it private if he did. I didn't know Hebner had Parkinson's until he passed, so White could have been ill too. Regardless, he'll be missed by many, heard nothing but good about him.
