"Don't Breathe" is a horror film from Sony Pictures and Ghost House Entertainment about a group of young friends wanting to get out of the town they are in and move to California, but are lacking the money needed for that. They then discover the home of a blind veteran who lives along and has a fortune locked away in his house. They also discover a way to temporarily stop his alarm system from working so they could break in without triggering it. What they soon discover is that despite the old man is blind, he can still use his other senses to feel their presences, along with where they are and what they are doing, and can still fight like he did in the Vietnam War, even without his sight. He also has a faithful pet Rotweiller who can smell trouble from a mile away. It also turns he has kidnapped the young girl who had killed his daughter in a car wreck, but was found innocent of intentional vehicle homicide, and has her bound and tied up in his house, so he is not totally innocent either. There is a lot of great action and suspense throughout the whole film. There are also a lot of great twists and turns throughout it as well. There are also a lot of eye opening shockers in there as well. Out of the horror films from Hollywood in recent years, this is one of the better ones.

That's here somewhere classichorrorfan, I actually liked this movie too except for the ending, kind of lost me there. There's a Don't Breathe 2 as well that's been posted about in the newer horror section, but I haven't gotten around to seeing it yet, you may like that too. And, if you like Stephen Lang you should also check out VFW which stars him, William Sadler, Fred Williamson and Martin Cove among others. www.imdb.com/title/tt9894470/

It looks overall interesting and intense. I will try to give that one a look before too long.
