Okay, I'd be lying if I said I was not looking forward to this. I saw all three Lord of the Ring movies in theater and own all three extended cuts (as well as the theatrical cuts) on dvd.
Seeing how this reprises the roles of most of the cast, I am looking forward to this and it's following sequel, There and Back Again in 2013.
I might be alone in highly anticipating this, but I for one am very thankful I work across the street from a movie theater.

Alright, I can admit to wanting to see this now after that trailer.

Never seen any of The Lord of the Rings movies, just not into them. This trailer looked OK, might give it a watch one day.

As long as they're short Klingons, I'm fine with it.

Keep seeing the trailer for this one the last 8 months, and I can't wait to see this movie. Man, I think I need to watch the LotRT next weekend.

I'll see it, but I'm not in a rush. I liked the first 2 LotR films, but the 3rd was way too long for me.

I can't wait for this. It feels like it will never be here and I want to see this so badly.

I never read any of the books, and I should, but I loved Jackson's first time out with Tolkien's material. The Lord of the Rings trilogy is solid. Very solid. Fellowship being my favorite right now. From memory. A rewatch is in order.
The Hobbit trilogy? Not so much. A little too much been there, done that. Nothing horrible or anything, just not as outstanding.
I kind of wish Guillermo del Toro got to direct the movie(s) instead of going back to Jackson, just to get a different take on that world. Oh, well. At least Evangeline Lilly shows up in the series.
I want to see Topher Grace's edit of the movie. He pared the three Hobbit movies down to one two-hour movie. Definitely worth watching.
