I have The Avengers and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance threads open, I should open on for what will probably be the most anticipated film of the summer (even moreso than The Avengers), The Dark Knight Rises. Hell, I want to see this movie, not nearly as much as The Avengers, but I've always liked Marvel more than DC.
I like the idea of Bane here, I look forward to seeing how they explain that mask. Catwoman is off putting here. Just don't like her look from what I've seen of photos. Will see how it goes, said the same about Ledger's Joker and I was wrong there.
Well, here is a teaser trailer.
Man, I just can't sleep right now. Wonder if there is anything else worth posting tonight non-horror related?

I feel iffy about this one for some reason. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I feel iffy about this one for some reason. Hopefully I'm wrong. Yeah, it doesn't have the same feel going into it as TDK did. It might have been that sick viral advertising beforehand, plus online shows and whatnot that might have made it more interesting. Or it could have been the characters. Two-Face and the Joker are hands above a silly looking Catwoman and cage-face Bane. Still, I want to see it just to see how they handle Bane, how they handle the man that broke the bat.

I became a Bane fan recently because of the comic Secret Six and him going apeshit sometimes. Once, he went on a violent spree for... some reason... breaking everyone's back and screaming I BROKE THE BAT over and over and over.
I laughed heartily.

I can't blame you for that, it sounds awesome. Well, I didn't want to give Batman Begins a shot and I enjoyed that, so hopefully this will end up the same. I don't know though, it seems a bit too over the top from the preview.

Like they had to top Joker and Two-Face, and that's just going to be very hard.
Anyhoo, this is the last Nolan Batman we're getting. Hopefully they will go out on top.

I would like for it to go out on a high note. The series has been damn good, better than we could have expected. But yeah, topping that last one is going to be tough.

Too bad we didn't get another animated film between explaining what happened with the Joker, and how he's "dead" in the sequel.

The trailer we saw for this at Avengers still didn't get me hyped for this movie. Hell, even the Amazing Spider-Man trailer won me over. I have a feeling I'm going to really dislike this one when I see it.

Not too bad of a finale to Nolan's Dark Night saga, but I prefer the second one still of the three. This being my least favorite.
Bane is great. Tom Hardy is just too damn hard to understand, to be honest.
I still think Michelle Pfeiffer is the best Catwoman.
Overall, decent.
It's terrible how that one shooter ruined the whole moviegoing experience for this movie though. Terrible that things like that are still going on.
