Well, the writing was on the wall when they fired Bill Polian, IMO. All I wanted from the Colts organization was to man up and do it. Don't drag it out, when most fans already see what's coming. They couldn't even do that. I personally think Jim Irsay is an ass, and I hope his new setup flounders for at least a decade.
Don't know if Peyton will play or retire, but if he plays, I hope the team he plays for beats the Colts asses on a regular basis.

Haven't seen the press conference yet, but my wife said Manning cried and was the ultimate professional as always regarding the Colts organization.
Really going to miss seeing him as a Colt, and I still hope if he continues to play he whips them every time. But, this really is the end of an era.

I'd certainly love to have him in DC. He says he's definitely playing some more, so it will be interesting to see where he ends up. He's gonna have his pick of teams, which he deserves. I hope wherever he ends up, he does great.
