This is when we had great shows. It was entertaining AND educational.

Oh man I forgot about this, how things have changed from good to crap now we have sponge bob singing sons about fun and allowing kids to think its cool to work fast food... Don't get me started on how messed up the Disney channel is my nieces and nephews aren't even allowed to watch that channel because of how they portray parents as complete idiots..

We did. There are a few standouts here or there these past few years, but nothing compares to the birth of Nicktoons, WB and FoxKids from the late 80 and early 90s. Then anime came in and ruined a lot of the good, and the replacements since have been nothing of standard.

there are only about four cartoon shows i can remember watching religiously in the 90's.
they are animaniacs, gargoyles, mummies alive and pinky and the brain.

I liked Animaniacs, used to watch it with my kids. But, the real classics to me are the old Looney Tunes cartoons I grew up on in the 70's. Bugs Bunny was great, and so many of the cartoons were over my head as a kid. I see them now and am impressed all over again by their hidden innuendos and tongue in cheek humor. Great show that sadly most kids today know nothing about.
