The Redskins did what I've said they should do for years and got a good QB right out of college. This guy was the ish at Baylor and was awesome in the combine as well. The Skins paid a hefty price for him giving up draft picks to the Rams to get him, but I think it's going to be well worth it in the long run.
Now we have a young QB who can be groomed and hopefully play his entire career with the Skins. I'm really excited to see what he does for the Skins next season. Beef up the offensive line and get a couple of good WR's and we'll have a good team on the field next season. Not gonna say playoffs yet, but this is definitely a step in the right direction.

Still cap room to draft a good rookie WR. And, I'd love to pick Brandon Jacobs up. That guy is a beast.

RGIII is good and all, but I think giving up 3 number 1 picks and a 2nd round pick is way too much just to move up 4 spots. Your Skins may have gotten RGIII from this, but the Rams won the trade as far as I'm concerned.

The Skins always blow their picks anyway, at least we got a good, young QB for for once instead of signing a Brunell, or a Grossman, or a Beck, or....
Took a hit in future draft picks, but if Griffin is for real, we'll be OK for a few years. If the Skins get to the playoffs, all the talk of over paying will stop. And, like I said, still some cap room to help him out. Would really like to see the Skins get Brandon Jacobs, but word is he's lobbying the Jets.

Just read that the Skins are going to sign Pierre Garcon. That'll help Griffin out some. Also after Josh Morgon from the 49'ers. So, they're definitely beefing up their receiving core. They better beef up the o-line as well if they want to keep Griffin healthy.

Man, don't ruin my moment. It's been so long since we had a good, young QB in DC. Always signing guys that are past their primes, or young guys that just weren't very good.
Finally they spend the money and picks for someone good. God I hope it pans out. So tired of being on the outside looking in. Just a playoff run, that's all I'm after in the next few seasons. More would be better, but I'd settle for just being in the playoffs instead of watching everyone else there.
