Roger Goodell and the NFL have suspended Saints head coach Sean Payton for the entire 2012 season for the bounties on other players. www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d827c0dd9/article/nfl-bans-williams-indefinitely-saints-payton-one-year-for-bounties?module=HP11_headline_stackNo word yet on how long former defensive coordinator Greg Williams will be suspended, the word is right now "indefinitely". This is unprecedented punishment, and goes to show the NFL is making an example out of them for this. I'd be willing to bet Greg Williams never works in the NFL again. And, you may as well can Payton as the coach of the Saints. A year suspension? Yeah, he's done. Good for Goodell and the NFL for stepping up and doing the right thing. The Saints brutalized Bret Favre in the NFC title game his last season, and it was unnecessary. They were trying to injure the guy. Watched it last night and the hits were truly brutal. Watched it live, I guess I was just into the game. Knew they were hard hits, but the slow motion really shows it. If I can find it online I'll post it.
