On Fearnet this month as part of the Stephen King series. Great freaking movie. Silver Bullet is also on until 4/30. Watched it 7 or 8 times this past week, lol.

I still have yet to see this. Had it on my instant queue for an eternity and didn't watch it, now it's disc only. I'll get to it at some point.

I like most of King's written work that went to film. Some more than others. This is one I love. Just great all around and really stuck to the book for the most part. I would have loved to see The Shining originally as King envisioned. Hard to improve on Kubrick's vision IMO, but I would have liked to have seen it the way King thought it should have been done.
I know he did the mini series years later, but he had more technology available to him then.

Carpenter and King together is horror gold. The soundtrack is badass, as much as Christine is.
I used to not like this flick, for whatever dumb reason. It just never resonated with me until years later. Life's funny that way. I am so glad I finally wised up.
Great character actors in this one too. Robert Prosky. Harry Dean Stanton.
It's only a matter of time before these self-starting cars become Christine themselves.
