This is a new, full length stop-motion animated feature from the makers of Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run, while I loved Chicken Run, I was never a fan of what made this group of animators so well known. So when this film came out, I had little intrigue in it. I saw it, I saw it. I didn't, I didn't, know what I mean? But before Avengers, this was playing in the theater we sat in, and Tomas and I caught the last... I'll say 15 minutes of this film.
And it was fantastic. Seriously, a great series of jokes that worked great in the medium, good voice acting, and spectacular visuals. A well composed looking film, I now must see this, hell, even own it. And this is from just the last bit of the film. It really was a great way to start Avengers, with a great laugh.
If you are into animated features, check this flick out.
This trailer doesn't do it enough justice.

That looked great. I'd certainly check that out when it hits DVD.

I still can't believe it had such a well known cast in it, and absolutely no mention of it was made in any of the previews I saw. Hugh Grant needs to do more voice work.

Yeah. Aardman has always been a favorite stop motion studio of mine. I love their stuff. From Creature Comforts to Wallace and Gromit to this. Shaun the Sheep is great fun too. I'll see anything by them. I still have to check out Early Man.
