Hopsin definitely belongs on here. Dude is hilarious and has a great flow. I've been trying to spread his name around. Here are 2 tracks to show you how good he is:

I like him but sometimes I can't take him seriously when he goes the lamestream route and raps about his "swag". People who really have "swag" don't have to go around bragging about it, lmao. Anyway, at least he usually doesn't choose to rap about those kind of themes. His overall style would have fit well with Strange but he wanted to do ish on his own. He may be successful with his own label, but I doubt he will be able to pull off what Tech N9ne did with his label. Him and Tech are confirmed to be on Insane Clown Posse's new album coming in August 14th, so that's cool.

I like how he acts like a regular dude in his interviews instead of trying to play some kind of persona. I think sometimes he does the swag thing as a joke, just to show how dumb it sounds.
I didn't know he was going to be on the new ICP album, but that should definitely get him some good attention.

GZA aka The Genius. Considered one of the greatest rappers of all time, and for good reason. His album Liquid Swords is also considered one of the best rap albums ever. He rarely goes the gansta route despite being part of the Wu-Tang Clan, instead opting for clever wordplay and story telling. Here are some of my favorite tracks:

Those aren't bad, considering I don't really like the genre. I could listen to those.

I tend to listen to either older rap or music from guys that have been around a long time (and there aren't many of those in this genre of music).
The problem is that everybody raps about the same stuff. Instead of being creative, most opt for the easy route and just try to hop on whatever trend is currently popular to make a quick buck.
GZA is a master of wordplay and even though his sales aren't the best, that is certainly on a reflection on his skill. There's a reason he's been around over 20 years. Wish more young rappers would emulate him instead of guys like 50 Cent.
