I couldn't throw this in the pits of hell because I actually liked this movie. It's not great, not by a long shot, but I found myself enjoying Naked Massacre. A film from 1976, it's "loosely based on the notorious Richard Speck murders". Not that it matters to me. It's not great on the gore, and a lot of deaths are done off screen, but I liked how the overall film felt and played. I plan on watching this one again, at least, unlike other films. My complaint is not about the movie, but about the dvd. This is the only released it's had on dvd, and it's pretty much just a straight copy of a bad VHS. It has tracking issues and jumpy throughout the film. But that's a dvd production issue, not a slight on the movie. Didn't take away from the movie for me. www.imdb.com/title/tt0211971/Aaaaaaaaand while looking for a trailer on youtube, I see Mill Creek Entertainment has it on their page. So I go check my Chiller box set, and there it is. So, who wants to trade for this? Seriously? I don't need 2 copies. |

My wife got me a 20 movie set one year for Christmas, all old horror movies and like 5 movies to a disc.
The last half of Carnival of Souls was just wrecked. E-mailed the company that distributed it and they sent me a free disc that worked.
Don't know if that would help at all in your case as it sounds like it was a conversion to DVD issue, but you never know.
Doesn't sound like a terrible movie, what were you looking to trade for it? I can't name every movie I have off the top of my head, but if you have something you're interested in, I may have it.

No, it's the fact that is was a bad copy of a VHS. Others have reported the same problem.
Nothing off the top of my head, but so you know I would want an actual copy and not those awesome hook ups from before. I know I know, I'm a greedy ish.

Cool, just shoot me over a list and we can get ish done.
I also have that 2 disc Exorcist: The Beginning if you want that as well. Throw that in the pot to make it more interesting.

Sorry man, been out applying everywhere, and I must have applied to at least 60 places online. Doesn't sound like much, but it's really draining filling out 10 apps an hour online.
I'll have a look this weekend for some movies we can barter over.

I'm pretty much terrified right now. This isn't a position I really wanted to find myself in at this point in my life, but, we've been through worse.
We'll make it through, just hope it doesn't take as long as last time.
