I have no choice. It's either that, FiOS. or RCN. So, who's f*cked?

Seems that would be you. That's what happens when you're the scum of the Earth I suppose.

My neighbor has Fios and raves about it. Has more channels than I have, including the Chiller channel, which I would love to have. They have the bundle, TV, internet and phone and I think they're locked in for 2 years at $99 a month, which is almost $60 less a month than me.
Don't know what service is like if he ever needs them to come out, and who knows what it goes up to after the 2 years is up. Really wanted to switch a while back but decided in the long run, probably better just to stay where I'm at, at least for now.

My Dad keeps saying he'll switch but hasn't done so yet so I'm not holding my breath. My friends with Fios all rave about it as well.

I never know what the truth is. Comcast says they're fastest internet wise based off of stats from PC magazine, Verizon says they're fastest. I do know that the channel lineup my neighbor has kicks mines ass, but I don't know what "tier" of channels he has. We have HD plus, which I think is everything but the movie channels.

I don't even need all the channels I have. I rarely go past 79 (or 779 for HD), because I never catch what I want on Sundance, IFC or Turner Classics (except for last Halloween with THEM! and Forbidden Planet, that was awesome).
