All I could think about after reading the title is "Balls. Balls. Balls. Whoaaaaa. Balls!!!" And now all I can think of is "SNOW! BALLS! SNOW! BALLS! SNOW! BALLS! SNOW! BALLS! SNOW! BALLS! SNOW! BALLS!" Yes, I've had the privilege of chanting Snowballs at a wrestling show.

Anything to do with Al Snow? And, why would you chant about his balls if so?

Al Snow vs Balls Mahoney. "First Ever" match between the two of them. Balls started throwing his patented punches. He was winding up, and Snow countered, as did the crowd, with "SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! WHOAAAAAAAAAA... BALLS!" Balls counters Snow, and back and forth they go, and we, being the sheep we are, chant "SNOW! BALLS! SNOW! BALLS!" And most people didn't even realize until I said, "I can't believe we just chanted showballs for 2 minutes."
One of the absolute best moments I've ever experienced at a show.

What show was that at? An ECW one? That sounds like a blast.

USA Pro, small indy promotion trying to be ECW long after ECW died. This was probably 2005.

Sometimes the small indy shows are the best. I was able to catch some MCW shows in early 2007 and while I wouldn't say the matches were the best, the crowd and atmosphere were great. Love the indy stuff.

Sometimes the crowd makes the show. And sometimes it's the wrestlers, like a local named VSK. Who we've called VHS, DVD and STD (that one EJ Risk, another local, got a chant started for). It was my schtick with him. First time I saw him, I asked him who he was. He gave me a dirty look, but I really had no idea who he was. Next show, I yelled "I know you, you're VHS!" And it became a thing.
For the STD one, the crowd just happened to die down right when he walked over to me, looked right at me and asked me I had for him. I called him STD. He looked like I cut out his heart and stepped on it.
After that, next show, I had to call him VSK. Nothing's gonna top a STD chant.

Ha, that's awesome. I like guys that will actually interact with the crowd like that, even if it doesn't turn out the way they wanted it to.
