Seahawks defense is on fire, 8 sacks on Aaron Rodgers in the first half. I wouldn't mind seeing the Seahawks have a good season, I like them alright.
Plus they beat Dallas last week, so they're OK in my book. Great looking uniforms too, to me. I like em.

I wanted Seattle to win that game tonight. But holy cow, that was one of the worst calls I have ever seen. First Tate shoved that dude out of the way, then the DB for Green Bay was actually the one who caught the pass.

Reading some comments on ESPN's board right now. Best one so far: "Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder wouldn't have missed that call."

Ha!! That's like the hit on that guy yesterday in Oakland that sent him to the hospital and no flag at all, even though the guy led with his helmet right to dudes face. Sure, it wouldn't have stopped the hit, but come on.
These guys suck, and according to NFL.com, it's gonna be this way for a while.

If I was one of the real refs I'd be laughing my ass off. Fine, don't pay me. Keep these replacement clowns out there and ruin your league some more.

Yeah man, and I read they're talking like $6000 more a year, and better benefits. I think that's the big issue is the benefits. After the way these first 3 weeks have gone, I'd be throwing money at them and begging them to come back.

Anybody watch the show The League or heard of Nick Kroll? Funny show, funny dude. Anyway... This was posted on his Facebook page, don't know if that's him or a rep, but it's funny either way.
"These replacement refs are like banging a sex doll w chlamidia. It's not the real thing & u still end up with a nasty itch."

I get infuriated at them, even in games I don't care about. Some of it is chuckle inducing, but man, I can't stand teams fighting 6-8 times in a game like the Ravens and Patriots last night and the officials being to afraid to throw a flag for it. This is cheapening the game for me. The players already make more money than they should, throw the real refs a bone, especially a $6000 dollar a season one.

They only want 6 grand more? Is that a game or just overall?

Lol Thom!! They only want 6 grand more? Is that a game or just overall? It would break down to every team in the league paying the officials as a whole $60,000 more a season. Not per official, but as a whole. So, total out of pocket the league, team wide, would pay $1,920,000. At least that's the way I understand it. In the grand scheme of things in the NFL, that's nothing. And I think these last 3 weeks have proven that they deserve the raise. But again, they also want better benefits packages and I think that's where the real wrench is coming in. But, I find it hard to believe team owners can't get together and make this happen.

Another beautiful line from the ESPN boards. Man I wish I thought of this....
"If only Aaron Rodgers had Allstate instead of Statefarm He would be protected from mayhem like this"
Not sure how true this is, but I've seen it posted a few times tonight over there. I guess Clay Mathews tweeted Goodell's cell phone number. 212 450 2027 I don't use twitter so I don't know about this one.
If that's really his number I'm sure it's a closed line by now. Still funny if it's true.
