Man, what a game this was. Skins were down 16-20 when Griffin III hit Santana Moss for a 30 yard TD pass with 1:32 left in the game. I knew that was too much time for Eli, Mr. 4th quarter comeback.
With 1:13 left he hit Victor Cruz for a 77 yard TD strike. I was thinking OK, come on RGIII, take em to the end zone one more time. And he was doing it...then Santana Moss fumbled, and that was it. NY won 27-23.
Great game by both teams, and it was awesome to watch. Quick fact, the Skins had only turned the ball over 5 times this season going into this game. They turned it over 4 times in the second half of this game with 3 fumbles and one INT.
And, they lost Fred Davis for the season with a torn Achilles tendon. But, what a game.

RG3 looks like he's a saving grace for your team. And he still has the ability to grow as a player, so you got lucky picking him up. I have a feeling in a few years Big Blue might not be as lucky as they were today.

I really can't believe the Rams gave up Griffin as a pick to the Skins. I know Bradford was a fairly new draft pick, but to pass on Griffin, they must see something really special in Bradford that I don't.
The only thing I don't like about Griffin is his running. I mean I like it, but I don't. Reminds me a lot of McNabb early in his career. When he lost the mobility, he seemed to lose his accuracy throwing as well. At least Griffin is getting out of bounds now instead of taking the hits on runs.
I thought he did a fine job against the defending champs, and if Fred Davis hadn't gone out, who knows?

It's funny to watch rookie QB's trying to slide. Do they not in college? Cause they seem to have no idea how to do it and it's hilarious.

I remember once seeing a guy slide like 8 feet, have his cleats get caught and start rolling around another 6 feet.
And then hit hard.

Hah!! Sounds like that was a good watch. The Skins had a kicker some years back, Brian Barker I think. Anyway, it was a rain game, and you know kickers only have like that one bar face guard on their helmet?
This guy came in to try to block a kick and ended up sliding and his knee went right into the open part of Barkers helmet, breaking his nose and smashing it completely flat. Freaking flat as a pancake. It was something to see.
