this was on the sci fi channel last week. I did nt catch the whole film, but it was one of those films that was so bizarre, and quite frankly gross that u are compelled to watch even when u dont want to. the plot was ridiculous, but the acting was pretty good which suprised me and actually made it believable despite the god awful storyline. was pretty grim though and like the wickerman, some images will haunt me forever

Saw this a while back and was disappointed in it. After all I had read about it, I was prepared for something that would really freak me out and turn my stomach, and I got neither. I agree that the acting was pretty good, but given the premise, I was expecting some having to look away gore, lol. It wasn't horrible, but to me, it was very forgettable. Not what I was expecting going in, and I think that just turned me off to the entire film.

i just could nt get my head past the mechanics of any of it. the first in the chain could eat, but the others could nt, so how come they did nt starve to death? and how did they go to the toilet? sorry thats mega gross, but if ur going to come up with a plot line, then everything has to be thought through!

There's a scene in the movie where the Chinese(?) guy in the front has to...go, and he feels horrible about it, but he has to. As he does, the doctor exclaims happily"yes...feed them". So, I guess the two in the back got their nutrients that way. Yuck.

Have recently heard that the director is making a sequeal, using the same actors. Im presuming the same actors in different roles? seeing asall but 1 character died?

I've actually read that there will be several sequels, going all the way to segment 10. So, I guess 10 people attached? Dunno.
And, yeah. I don't know how the casting is gonna work either. They'll need a new doctor to take over the experiment. I hope the next one(s) are more shocking visual wise. Good premise in the first one, I just wanted more shock, lol.

This was one of the crappiest movies i had ever seen. seriously people told me about it saying "oh, tony this awesome indie movie" then i seen some name drop on tosh.o and i'm like ok lets give it a look. what a waste its one of those let your mind try and determine how gruesome you want it to be by not showing anything but let you think you see something. not even a boob shot the girls are topless and no side boob really this movie should stay underground. the only good thing about this film is the idea and south park did a parody of it

Agreed 277-4653. An absolute waste of time. Pretty much no gore, no nudity despite the girls being topless and nothing that shocking.
What was the worst to me was that the movie had zero point to it. The doctor hates people, alright, but why sew 3 of them together? It serves no real purpose. Then even after he does that, he doesn't do anything to them! Oh joy, he makes them fetch the paper and drink out of a dog bowl. That's it, really?
I think when the Japanese guy goes number 2 and apologizes it was supposed to be gross, but I busted out laughing at how absurd the whole thing was.
