2012 is coming to a close, and you've probably gone and see what you're gonna see for this year. So, let's get a list of what's you top 10 movies were for this glorious year for movies (the fact that I saw 11 in theaters alone proves it was glorious).
Since I started the thread, BAM!
Django Unchained Argo Dredd 3D Expendables 2 Wreck-It Ralph Seven Psychopaths Cabin In The Woods The Avengers The Man With The Iron Fist The Dark Knight Rises
And yes, those are in order. There are several more that came out this year I have to check out, and I'm looking forward to a lot of films next year. Hell, 2 come out in the first month alone, Zero Dark Thirty and Last Stand. Going to have to see both in theaters.
Honorable mention: The Amazing Spider-Man Total Recall (see lower posts for reasons why)
Dishonorable mention: Prometheus Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance
So sad, so much potential for both films.

Very sad to say that I only saw 3 new movies this year, I think. And, all 3 were horror movies. So, my list in order:
Cabin in the Woods The Loved Ones Don't Be Afraid of the Dark
Saw a ton of movies that I'd already seen before, and did catch some that I'd never seen but were older. I think that will be my resolution. See some new movies next year.

Watching Total Recall right now thanks to this.
Not expecting much, but I need to see it. Watch it while you can, I don't expect it to be up long. Ted was uploaded 14 hours ago and it's already been pulled.

So I just finished TRINO (Total Recall in name only), and I didn't hate it. Because it was very easy to ignore all the Total Recall references because there almost weren't any. Outside of the names, there wasn't much of a connection. So I was able to easily look past that and enjoy the film for what it was, a popcorn thriller.
It felt like a bastard lovechild of Blade Runner, Total Recall and I, Robot. I might own this if I can get it for dirt cheap.

I'm gonna watch it sometime this weekend , so I saved it. Quick tip, if you have a You Tube movie you want to see at a later date but are afraid it may be taken down before you can see it, like this one, try KeepVid. Great program for saving streaming videos to your PC for later viewing. Easy to use, and 100% free. keepvid.com/

Cool. Because I don't like watching on youtube (although it was worth it last night).

It's really nice to be able to save them and watch them whenever. I hate watching movies online, I always feel like I'm missing something somewhere else. There's probably a program out there that will convert what you save to burn it to disc...I'll have to look into that.

That would come in handy for wrestling matches, no?
