I thought I was watching a Romero zombie film, not Romeo and Juliet. 2 warring families fighting over zombies? Really?
This one is a reversal of Day of the Dead, since this time the villains wants to keep the zombies alive and the heroes want to kill them. There's also a zombie who rides a horse!
I'm not sure if this or Diary is worse. This one I would say definitely has the worst effects. How you go from great practical effects to below Asylum level CGI is beyond me. Only 2 characters are likeable, and the ending is just stupid. Hopefully Romero never makes another one of these travesties.

That looks really familiar. It also looks terrible. I think I may have seen this a while back, I must have blocked it from my memory... until now.

Diary was horrible. I still have to own this, though, because I want a full set of the series, but I expect it to suck.
Although zombie horse riding sounds hilarious.

I can easily do without this and Diary. These are absolute pieces of trash that I wish he didn't make. He really lost his touch and I don't want him to ruin the good name of the series with another film of this caliber.

So you're hoping for a Burial of the Dead?

Exactly.

Honestly, that could make a kick ass film. And hour and a half of about 15 people just BS, sharing z-day stories and having a few brews while digging mass graves for all the redead undead.
A bit of a slice of life movie.

I'd watch that. I don't believe there's ever been a film like that.

There have probably been a few, but I bet they're all pretentious indy ish or French. And lacking zombies.

Has potential to be something new and awesome. We can call it Zombie Aftermath.

That moment of fear comes when one of the bags starts to move. A few flashback scenes to illustrate them. Have some of them really messed up, and some be very calm, quiet stories. Some sad, some happy, all with zombies.

Could be done on a very low budget, too.
