Loved it. I had never seen the original from 56, but I had seen the one from 78 so many times and I love that I figured it had to be good. Plus, it had Kevin McCarthy in it. Really good movie. No giant atomic insects in this one, just some serious suspense and building dread and paranoia. Liked it from beginning to end. Gonna own this one, then the 78 version.

I've wanted to won the '78 version since I saw it in Junior High. Man. that was a great film.

I love the 78 version. Sutherland was great in that. Love McCarthy's cameo and the dog with the human face. Oh, and the guy in the dry cleaners..."That not my wife!!"

That was a great class, I gotta say. Hell of an elective.

I don't believe I've seen either of these.

Both are great Tomas. I'd be hard pressed to pick one over the other right now, and that's surprising to me given how much I liked the 78 remake. The original is great.

I think I have the 56 version in one of my movie packs. Hopefully the remake is on Netflix.
