The money train is rolling, again... but I know I'll be seeing this somehow.

That... actually looks pretty cool. I'd be willing to get the BD of that once it comes out just because of that trailer. But I ain't doing IMAX again any time soon.

I doubt Ill be seeing it in the theater either. I'll definitely be seeing it though. Cool thing is, they say they have enough new materiel to jump right in the studio and record a new album, they've just been wrapping up the movie. So this and hopefully soon after a new record and tour.

I could really use a new album similar to Death Magnetic. I love the sound they have there, a great balance of the sounds they've developed during the Speed, Short Hair and failed Nu Metal days. Can't wait for a new album. One of the few bands I still give money to.

I hope it's heavy on the DM sound as well. They must be confident of the materiel since they released the songs that didn't make DM on Beyond Magnetic. Normally the stuff that didn't make it would be tweaked for the next album.
Hetfield said the "tuning room" they would all jam in before each show on this tour is where all the new materiel came from, so we should be in a good spot for a continued DM vibe.

That would make me very happy as a Metallica fan.
