Been a long while since this was talked about here, but I came across some episodes of this today and remembered how much I liked it.
Just half hour stories that aired on TV from 1979 to 1988 with most of the stories written by Dahl, some by other authors.
Some were scary and some were humorous, but they pretty much always ended with a good twist.
This is one of my favorite episodes, The Sound Machine.
