As I said on another board, I'm glad he's gone. Now there's no chance of him ever coming back to announce full time, and I don't have to worry about wishing for it any more. The pain is gone.

Seems like the decision wasn't entirely his own...thanks Ric... link

Still, time to move on in general. Ross is great, but we can't keep asking for him back to only get him for, what, 1 match a year? We need to send King off with him.

Leave it to Flair to basically take the decision out of his hands though. Ross could have gone on behind the scenes, I'm sure the pay was good. Not that he hasn't done well for himself, but still.

Gonna miss him, but hey, he'll stay busy regardless. He had a great run, now it's time to focus on enjoying other things in life.
At least we know they have good talent scouts right now. I know Dutch, Smiley and Regal are a few of the guys who oversee the new talent. Plus with how NXT is looking, the future is bright for both in ring competitors and announcers alike.

Don't forget Jamie Nobel, who keeps up with all the indies. He's constantly giving WWE people to look at when it comes to potential talent. He knows what to look for.

The staff they have in developmental and back stage is definitely one of the main factors to WWE's current run of good wrestling and storytelling.

Absolutely. I haven't enjoyed wrestling this much in almost 10 years. I feel like a 5 year old kid all over again, and I absolutely love it.

Man, you want to know how good it's gotten? I've been marking out for Randy Orton matches! Dude, when Goldust hit the Cross Rhodes on Randles, I thought he had him. But it proves, when he comes back Cody's gonna need a new finisher, something that's got more to it. It will never beat Orton.

Plus, Cody will come back hot and into a spot in the upper card. That thought has me so damn excited.

Rhodes has been real good since the face turn. Ross was at his best when he was in Talent Relations. Thankfully, we only suffered 5 years of ish recruiting. Gotten much better the last 3 years.

Big Johnny was not a good talent scout at all. Heidenreich and Snitsky? Come on man.

Snitzky did punt a baby, though. We will never forget that awesomeness.
