"Follows the story of American engineer Nicholas Burton (Joseph Millson) in a race against time to reach his pregnant girlfriend Ishani Sharma (Meenu). Burton enlists the help of an orphan street kid Javed (Anand Goyal) and together they make a perilous 300 mile journey across deadly landscapes as a zombie apocalypse threatens to engulf the entire nation." Sometime in 2014.

How did I not hear about this?! I loved The Dead. Such a beautifully shot film. I'm stoked for this.

Really? Maybe I need to watch it again, I think I hated it. Pretty sure it was that one.

Because 1 film wasn't shitty enough, here's another!

I thought I remembered hating the first one. I remember getting off to a bad start with it because Comcast's description of the film was for the 1987 movie of the same name that had nothing to do with horror. I think it went downhill from there.

I think I have the first one on my Netflix, but since there's a bazillion zombie flicks out, I was in no hurry to see it.

I'm a zombie fanatic. And the fact that The Dead was shot on 35mm, just made the look of the movie more appealing. Had that old zombie flick feel to it.

I like zombies too, but over the last few years it feels like every other horror flick has to do with zombies, and 99% of them are awful. The last new-ish zombie movie I saw that I really enjoyed was Rammbock.

I love my zombies as well. I think my art alone attests to that. But there's a lot of ish out there that's just that, ish. It didn't look bad, but the story was atrocious. I got about 40 minutes in (technically, I was watching it on SyFy), and I was bored out of my mind.

I agree 100% I own a lot of shitty zombie movies. But there are a lot of hidden gems and The Dead is one of them. I'd put the Ford brothers in the same league as Romero. They created a beautiful film. A very underrated film.

Most zombie films in general seem to suck. They either have a terrible story, focus on nothing but the gore, or are just boring as hell.

I like to think of it as an artsy zombie film, if you will. Lol as dumb as that sounds

I'll get to it eventually and see for myself how I like it. If nothing else, it can't be as bad as Revenge of the Dead or Oasis of the Zombies. Hopefully.

Oh, man, no. The Dead does not even come close to the awesomeness that is Oasis of the Zombies. That movie is pure gold.

I know if ever I have a night where I can't sleep, I can just throw that thing on and I'll be out like a light in no time.
