Never heard a Dusty interview where he quoted the champ to be, Bob Backlund. What a great rivalry and it helped that they were such good friends back stage. Good stuff.

Dusty is a master of promos. I think having him around has helped a lot of guys coming up with their promo work. They're better than they've been in the past.

Man, to be able to pick his brain as an up and comer. I'd rather learn from him than someone like Flair. Dusty actually cares about the business, and Flair cares about Flair.

Not too many men out there that can touch Dusty on the mic. To learn from him has got to be a dream come true for so many of those young guys.

A lot of the indy guys are already decent, but with Dusty around they can really hone their craft. Or, like Seth Rollins, who could cut a promo to save his life in ROH, become someone who is more than able to hold their own when it comes to the big stage.
It's strange, you look at the Shield and you think Dean Ambrose will do all the talking because of his days as Jon Moxley and his FCW work. You wouldn't believe that Seth Rollins can go just as well as he does, also incorporating it into his heel gimmick as a smack talking ass kicker in his matches.

I freaking LOVE that part about Rollins. The way he constantly talks trash while either he or his teammates are beating a guy down in their corner is that little difference that makes him so great.

He's really become the workhorse of that group, and it shows. He's been getting a lot of spotlight time because of it, too. I think they're showing what he can do because they want to push him when the Shield breaks up. He seems like a guy who could skip the midcard and jump to the main event.

If the rumors of Punk wanting to retire sooner than later are true, Rollins is an excellent replacement for him.

Rollins covers that HBK/Jeff Hardey/CM Punk spot well. A great balance who blows away heirs former indie self. I don't miss Tyler Black at all. I think having guys like Dusty, Steamboat and Norman Smiley down they're really helps us get the best developmental crew since OVW's golden years.

He's so much better as Seth Rollins that I don't miss Tyler Black either. He's truly like an entirely new character.
Also helps that he's one of, if not THE best seller in WWE right now.

Too bad HBK and Flair retired and Curt Hennig is dead. Those 3, plus Rollins and Ziggler in a sell off! a reason to buy a PPV alone.
