A lot of the later sequels weren't even really Hellraiser films, they just added the Cenobites to get people to see them. That's why you only see Pinhead in them for 5 minutes.
I thought 3 was pretty bad. I did enjoy Inferno and Hellseeker though.

I really liked number 3 as well. the quote from pinhead when hes still part of that tower/statue thing and the dude says "oh jesus" and pinhead remarks "not quite" . simple but makes me giggle like a naughty schoolgirl everytime......

I liked that too. Plus it had Paula Marshall in it who was also in one of my favorite Seinfeld episodes, "The Outing".

The effects were awesome, but I felt like the film kinda dragged. It wasn't the worst, but it just didn't work for me.

It did get out there at the end with the new Cenobites. But, I loved them. I love Nightbreed for all the monsters too and that movie isn't the best either, lol.

Nightbreed is laughably bad. The studio really destroyed it though, so for all we know, the original vision Barker had for it could have been a truly fantastic film.

Cabal is one his best books to me, so I just thought it was made purposely bad. The first time I saw it, I was a little pissed, but then I liked it so much I just figured it had to be on purpose. A lot like the Rawhead Rex movie, that was based on his work. Good story, laughable movie but at the same time enjoyable to me.

Nah, it was supposed to be good, but for whatever reason, the people in charge decided they knew better and turned the film into...that. Barker is still pissed about it.

Maybe we'll get a proper remake of that one day then, Cabal instead of Nightbreed, the way it should have been done. I think Barker is big enough to warrant that. He's my second favorite author and I know a lot of people that like him better than King.

They made the Cabal Cut. Which I heard was bad

Yeah, here's the teaser trailer for that...
They'd need to start over, with Barker doing the screenplay and doing it his way. The book is excellent.
