About 6 months or so ago I had read about this class action suit being brought against EA Sports saying that they were price gouging. Percover vs. EA Sports was the suit and they were saying that the Madden football games were too expensive compared to other games released on a year by year basis.
Anyway, I read more into it and found a place where I could add the Madden games I had bought dating back to 2004 I think it was. And that was basically a game every year when the new one came out. Anyway, I submitted my info, and the games and kind of forgot about it. Today, I got a settlement check!! $35.10!! I was just one of who knows how many people getting a small settlement and I didn't expect to get anything really, so this was a cool bonus.
Not much, but it was cool to get the check.

It's not much, but it's something. Good for you Dave.

A ton of people got something, and nobody really got a lot. But, cool surprise and although I thought the games were worth the price for the most part, I'll certainly take it.

Money's money, right? Take what you can if they're gonna give it to you.

Yup. After I filed I found a bunch of PS2 Madden games I could have added as well, oh well. Better than nothing.

Very true. I remember not too long ago I got a settlement from a law firm because they sent out threatening letters claiming payment. I was able to recover for myself and my father. It was a feel good moment.
