Kassius Ohno aka Chris Hero has reportedly been released from WWE. Damn shame seeing as he just got back into shape and had an awesome NXT match against Luke Harper. Oh well. No Mo Ohno

He's already booked for PWG shows this month. I'm gonna miss not seeing him in the E, but it won't be a huge loss in the end, especially if he wasn't willing to do what was needed by the E to get him called up.

True. I was really hoping for a KoW reunion or even just seeing what awesome feuds he could have had, but in the end there are a ton of other awesome guys full of potential who are willing to put in the work. He screwed himself over, so I don't feel sorry for him at all.

Exactly. NXT is chock full of future stars that are dying for it, and will put their all into getting it. And it shows. Leaves room for those that deserve it.
Now, we just need to get Cory Graves on the main roster as some sort of punk rocker antihero.

Never in a million years would I have thought PAC would be someone I'd want to see wrestle. Anything really is possible in the world of professional wrestling.

I think it's all WWE. While I like indie wrestling, and I always will, there is not enough structure when it comes to the product there. WWE has the best balance when it comes to bringing the best out of their wrestlers.
We've seen some amazing matches from Bryan Danielson in the indies. From facing Nigel McGuinness to KENTA to Takeshi Morishima to Naomichi Marufuji to Claudio Castagnoli, those were amazing matches. But it wasn't until he refined his work and gained proper mic skills in the WWE as Daniel Bryan that he became the best wrestler in the world. CM Punk was always slick, but the E brought out the best in him because being on that bigger stage makes you realize you're not fulfilling the geekgasms of just a niche crowd, the world is now watching.
Look at Claudio, now Antonio Cesaro (for someone reading that isn't in the know). He's a great wrestler, but I never wanted to listen to him on the mic. WWE changed that with the 5 languages schtick he was running. I tune in to wrestling to watch him. How about the evolution of Brodie Lee, now Luke Harper. I never thought he'd even make it to the E looking like a greasy trucker. Now I can see him one day main event. There is a factor there that creates the perfect packages. How can I forget the former Tyler Black, now Seth Rollins. Someone who is now as good a mic worker as Bryan is. Dean Ambrose has world champ written all over him
WWE has tried for so long to breed their own cookie cutter wrestlers, and they were missing something. That something is the seasoning needed to grow in the indies. That's why guys like Sami Zane (future WWE champ right there), Xavier Woods, Corey Graves, Adrian Neville and Solomon Crowe have the potential to be the best WWE has seen in the coming years. And yes, they can find guys that haven't been pros in the indies too often and make them stars, but it's much better finding wrestlers who have that talent and help them refine them to where they needed.
Chris Hero has the look, had the gimmick, and had the mic skills, but when asked to work out and not even bulk up but tone up, and he didn't, that showed on his work ethic. It made him look bad, and rightfully so he was put in the doghouse. It was more of an attitude thing, not his skills. Why we have no sympathy for him being released. Good for the indies, but sad that Hero has this opportunity and let it go.

It's amazing to me that you are a hair away from making it to the biggest stage of all and you just decide to be lazy. Shouldn't that be a motivating factor? It's guys like this that give indy workers a bad rap, probably why the E was avoiding them for so long.
Yeah, the future is looking brighter than ever right now. It's a great time to be a WWE fan.

I just hope that they add 2 or 3 indy guys over time to their developmental league. Go ahead, bring in your models and athletes and meatheads. Let them all go head to head and see who makes it and who doesn't.
