It's amazing how many full movies are on youtube. Thanks man! Definitely gonna watch this one on Halloween night, with my Silver Shamrock mask.

I could help you out with that if you want. I can't offer much, so I like to do it.

Yeah it is. Very underrated movie. It has it's share of cheese, but that just adds to it, IMO.

I watched this for the first time a couple of weeks ago and have to say I enjoyed it. As much as I enjoyed the original Halloween, I have never really been a huge fan of the sequels and the lack of Michael Myers made me avoid this one, but it was better than I thought it would and I agree it was branded wrong.

They wanted to do the same thing with Friday The 13th, but Jason became the face of the franchise. I guess these type of films just aren't meant to be.

I guess Carpenter had his reasons for not wanting to do any more after Halloween 2, and that's his deal. But, I just don't understand walking away from a sure money maker. This series and the Friday series made money hand over fist, and they could put out a new Friday movie today and people would flock to see it just to see Jason again. I guess from a horror purists standpoint, at some point you'd be like ugh, this needs to stop. I guess I'm to poor to see it that way right now, lol. I say make the money while it's there to be made.

Thanks to Dave, I watch this a few nights ago. While slow in the middle, it was a pretty good movie. I really liked the third act, that was some damn fine horror right there. And the ending, oh boy. This could have been a hell of a movie if it wasn't saddled with the Halloween namesake. Had it been something else, like Halloween Evil, could have worked great. Well, not that name, but you get the idea.

I found it slow the first time, but upon watching it a second time, I liked the movie a lot more.

Yeah, the first 2 acts tend to plod along at a slow pace, but it's worth sitting through to get to that ending run. That scene where the family are isolated at the commercial comes on... man, just thinking about it is creeping me out.
