Hello! I'm Annie. I do stuff, and also things! Yes, especially things.
Would you like to be my friend? Of course not! But in case you're oblivious enough to ignore my copious amount of red flags, you're welcome to shoot me a PM or message me one of the many, many other online communities I am a part of! I've made it quite easy, as my username is theanneh on every site I've ever joined.
Here's some personal information that is very likely true! -I quite like talking. -I play video games. Currently: Elder Scrolls Games, Call of Cthulu... and I'm working my way through Amnesia. Slowly. Ask me about my MMO history; it's ridiculous what I've picked up and dropped (like me, on my head as a child). -I play table top games. Dungeons and Dragons, Dark Heresy, Maid RPG, Pathfinder, Dungeon Crawl Classics, whatever people ask me to play... And Table Top tactics. Just got into Warhammer and I am in love. Give me Liches or give me death. -I watch television. A lot of television. I also like to talk about it. TV Tropes is practically my home page. I'm also on trakt.tv. -Other media I happen to enjoy are novels (I have a goodreads account if anyone is interested), specifically of the mystery variety, comic books (particularly anything published by IDW), the occasional manga/anime, and audio dramas. I'm not the biggest fan of movies. -The fingerprints of koala bears are virtually indistinguishable from those of humans, so much so that the two have been confused at crime scenes. -I also partake in indie/alt music. The Islands are my favorite band. I enjoy all genres so feel free to give me recommendations.
And that's me, in a nutshell. Hope I fit in here. Been a little intimidated to post in all honestly.

Welcome to the forum! Don't be afraid. We stopped our weekly sacrifices to the dark lords and many angled ones. For now.
IDW you say? What books? I'm months, if not years behind on Ghostbusters and Godzilla, but they are among my favorites from the company. I also plan on picking up the Locke & Key books before the end of the year.
I had to Google this.

I had to Google this. Aww, I'm sorry I missed that. I own their complete collection as of... 2012 I believe. I'm working my way through all their Silent Hill comics currently. And 30 Days of Night. And... I'm almost ashamed to say, their CSI comics. Ohh, do not delay a moment on Locke and Key! It is fantastic! It seems talent is hereditary, if the author's writing is any indication. Last comic con IDW sold a bunch of Keys from the comic and we own every one of them. Needless to say it's worth a read. You're the first one to google that.

Hill is a damn fine writer. I liked The Cape as well. Didn't read The Cape 1969 yet, or Thumbprint. No interest in Wraith: Welcome to Christmasland because I'm not reading NOS4A2 anytime soon.
Before anything, it's Jack Kirby's The Demon. Then Frank Miller's Daredevil. Then Steve Gerber's Man-Thing. Then a lot of other stuff I really need to get to finally. I think the Essential Tales of the Zombie trade has been sitting on my shelf for 6 years only part read.

NDXI think your list should be Frank Miller's Literally Anything. I may be biased though. Maybe. @endo Yes, yes you do. And thanks. Glad to be here. :3

NDXI think your list should be Frank Miller's Literally Anything. I may be biased though. Maybe. I only own Miller's Daredevil and Elektra. And 2 Sin City books. That will change once I get that SC omnibus. My. Lawd. That's a book right there.

gorepoliceThanks! :3 NDXGood. Very good. Oh, Sin City. The graphic novel I brought in to prove to my art professor that comics are an art form and never say otherwise. It certainly worked.

It's a survival horror game. You can play on the Hero team (essential the survivors)and you can choose from an assortment of characters. Or on the zombie team. (different packs have different kinds of zombies) There are several different scenarios to play, like find gas for the truck, keep zombies out of the farm house, survive until sunrise, etc. The board game takes elements of zombie film plots and horror film stereotypes. Such an awesome board game!

kicktotheheadSounds interesting, though I am a bit tired of zombies at this point. xD A 7/10 on BGG isn't bad. I'll check it out sometime.

theannehMy drawing 3 class in college, my professor had a copy of Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics with her the whole term for some of the lessons. That was a good class.

NDXThat sounds like a good class. Aaah, if only I stayed in art school. Switched majors after all the grad student teachers. Holy Hera was that one of the worst years of my life. :/
