Why on Earth did Sex, Lies, and Videotape and Traffic director Steven Soderbergh decide to turn the colorful pulp of Raiders of the Lost Ark into a silent black-and-white film? Because it turns out Raiders is still remarkably compelling stripped down and has a lot to teach us about filmmaking.

This is a movie that I need to own and watch again. I loved it when I was younger but haven't seen it in easily 10 years.
The silent version sounds great as well and I'd definitely watch it. Great movie that I haven't seen in far too long. Love to have a set with both in it, the original and the B&W silent one.
