The first was good, but the re-make blew it away to me. I know Romero didn't have much of a budget to work with on the original, so it suffers some there. Gotta go with the re-make, thought it was excellent.

Big Romero fan, and I like the original a lot. Got a soft spot for Romero, Night Of The Living Dead is my all time favorite. But, I think the re-make does the story better justice. Just got the story across better than the original. I voted for the re-make.

I voted remake.
Truthfully, I think they both suck. However, the 2nd one was bad just because it seemed very generic, while the original was PAINFULLY slow and boring.

Really? I haven't heard anyone even mention it, let alone talk about how great it was.

i have friends that always want to watch it as if its the greatest thing i just didnt love it that much My ex-girlfriend ALWAYS wanted to watch this movie for some weird reason. I liked it the first time I watched it but after the 15th or 16th time I watched it, it just got old and stupid. I will say that I liked the remake more than the original, but I will never watch the remake ever again.

I'll be the original's sole cheerleader.
I just find it more daring and interesting over the remake. Plus, that ending. The guy's face. Like this crap will never cease to end.
Dated for sure, and slow going at times, but I'm a '73 version fan. All the way.
I love that trailer too.

Wow, 10 years since the remake came out and I haven't seen it since then. Maybe I'd like the original better after watching them both again, I just remember thinking how slow it was. The remake was decent and much more fast paced, probably why I voted the way I did.

The original from George Romero is a timeless classic to me, but the remake made me feel like I was just watching a lot of the same bad remakes at the same time. I definitely have to go with the original on this one.
