24 Photos That Show What You Really Look Like On Your Phone
So these images were very striking indeed, at least to me. And yeah, I admit sometimes I am that person that's constantly looking down at her phone (on the train, for example, but that's usually because I don't want to make eye contact with anyone, as some shifty people tend to ride it), or out to dinner, but I stop myself before I totally ignore the people that I'm with. It's kinda sad that we depend on our smartphones/tablets so much nowadays. (Oh and if this feels like it fits better in the "Arts" board, go ahead and move it, I just thought I'd post it here since it deals with technology, but it could totally be art also.)

It's fine here. Those are great pics and really show how much technology has taken over actual human interaction. It's weird for me, growing up before anything like a cell phone or a PC, and now instead of the intimate call from a loved one, you get a text. I text too, don't get me wrong. But sometimes, a phone call is still the way to go.

But sometimes, a phone call is still the way to go. Oh, I understand what you're saying, but I actually text more than I talk. Sometimes I don't have a lot to say and I can say all I need to with a simple text... but I also don't really like talking on the phone. I get distracted too easily. Though I didn't have a cell phone until I was 18, and before that I only had a pager at like 16 (basically when I started driving on my own and it was so that my parents could still get a hold of me somehow). I'm actually glad that I grew up before the digital era hit as insanely as it has though. It allowed me to appreciate the little things in life more.
