Not only was I bored, but I really dislike Taissa Farmiga as an actress. Got nothing on her sister for sure. Just meh all the way around to me, which sucks because I waited a long time to see it. Oh well, maybe you guys will like it more than I did.

That's a side story to The Conjuring isn't it? Looked pretty meh to me too, so hearing this is all the more reason to give it a pass.

Just posted my review on the board. Did you feel like the Nun was way to overpowered and the method of destroying it was way to simple?

That's a side story to The Conjuring isn't it? Looked pretty meh to me too, so hearing this is all the more reason to give it a pass. It was a spin off from a character in The Conjuring. Aside from the jump scares, which weren't really scary, just didn't offer much scary to me. I've read that others thought the acting was pretty good, I didn't get that either. Try it out if you come across it, love to know what you thought. Just posted my review on the board. Did you feel like the Nun was way to overpowered and the method of destroying it was way to simple? I felt like the actual nun was way over exposed. In The Conjuring, all you saw was a shadowy figure of the nun. I get that she was only a side character so they wouldn't show much of her, but in The Nun they show way too much of her, I thought. There was nothing left to imagine, if that makes sense. Plus, the CGI wasn't very good either. My wife said she looked like a muppet. I did feel like as much as the nun was built up in the movie, she was pretty easy to defeat, but honestly, I wasn't paying a whole lot of attention through the second half. Just me, some may love it. I was disappointed.
