What are your favorites? Doesn't matter if they're new or old, just like to get an idea of the ones you all watch. I really like A Christmas Horror Story, a fairly new one. William Shatner and a good twist. Krampus is great, but there are several other Krampus themed movies I haven't seen, has anyone seen any of these?
Of course, there's the older classic movies, but we watched Black Christmas today from 1974 and I gotta say, I thought it stunk. Gonna watch the remake tomorrow that I've seen before but don't remember. Anyway, you guys have any favorite Christmas horror movies to add so I can binge?

Santa's Slay. Best Santa ever played by a former wrestling Jew.

That's on the list for tonight, also found one from 2016 called Holidays which is an anthology with stories for every holiday, even St Patrick's Day and Easter.
These and the Black Christmas remake should keep me busy for a little while. Thanks man.

I'd like to find more Christmas based horror films. I don't have many.
Also, I think we should count Gremlins as it covers many bases with its characters.

Santa's Slay was awesome!! Wasn't expecting it to be that good. And yeah, I would consider Gremlins a Christmas movie. We watched that not too long ago, I hadn't seen it in years and my wife had never seen it. I don't know, maybe I went in remembering it differently, but it didn't do it for me. Need to give it another shot.
Thinking of Better Watch Out later, which should be seen by everyone, pretty good and twisted. Not what I expected anyway.

Santa's Slay DVD has an awesomely funny gag reel that's like 10 minutes long. Just for the James Caan alone it's worth watching.

The version we watched had some bloopers at the end, but no James Caan unfortunately. Really liked the movie though, Goldberg was great I thought. Wish I had seen it years ago. Trying to fit in some football and then another Christmas movie. I have some on DVD I've never seen which will be good for DVDecember, especially since they're not horror movies.

I thought Holidays was terrible personally. Also thought both Black Christmas films were trash.
As for Christmas horror movies, there is of course the Silent Night, Deadly Night series. The first is a classic, second is mostly stock footage but has a few worthwhile scenes in it. I'd stay away from 3 and 4 unless you need something really boring to help you fall asleep. 5 is a fun little film well worth checking out.
Christmas Evil is another good one. Kinda slow and not very violent, but seeing the guy slowly losing his mind keeps it interesting, and that ending was weird as hell.
Jack Frost, the killer snowman movie is cheesy fun. There is also the very first story in the Tales From The Crypt anthology film. Some others I've seen but were only okay at best were Saint, Rare Exports, and Don't Open Til Christmas.

I didn't care for the original Black Christmas and the remake gets an even lower IMDB rating so I'm sure it sucks too. Silent Night,Deadly Night I've seen a bunch of times over the years, never watched any of the sequels though. I love the story in the Tales movie, just never understood why she didn't call the cops and blame her husbands murder on the crazy guy, perfect out, lol.
Better Watch Out is pretty good, and we watched an older anthology last night called Dead of Night. Probably check out Christmas Evil tonight, don't think I've seen that.
Got Krampus and A Christmas Horror Story lined up for Christmas eve, so that should be fun.

Certainly the original Black Christmas directed by Bob Clark comes to mind, and Gremlins.
I also like the '70s version ...And All Through the House with Joan Collins from Tales from the Crypt.
Red Christmas is a more recent movie that was surprisingly good. Inside is also a more recent movie and just as good, if not more brutal.
Have to also include The Nightmare Before Christmas.
