One woman of horror I never see getting mentioned enough is Barbara Steele. She not only nailed all of her roles, -plus she starred in some of the Italian cult classics of the black and white era. She starred in "Nightmare Castle," "Castle Of Blood," "The Pit And The Pendulum," "Black Sunday," "Your Money Or Your Wife," and "The Horrible Dr. Hichcock," to name a few. She also appeard in the original "Piranha" from 1978. She is also still to this day appearing in a lot of stuff.

Oh yeah, definitely deserves a spot. Don't know how she slipped by. Just watched Black Sunday not long ago, loved her in it.
Another one that I think is missing and deserves a mention Is Britt Ekland, if nothing else for The Wicker Man alone.

Yes! Black Sunday is definitely one of the better of Mario Bava's earlier films! It definitely brings out the magic from a black and white classic movie and more!

I LOVE Black Sunday (I'm looking for it on VHS). Steele is a Great actress, one of the best. What about Margot Kidder, Patricia Arquette.

I loved Margot Kidder in The Amityville Horror, but I didn't like her character much in Black Christmas. Regardless, definitely a worth addition. Patricia Arquette should get a nod just for A Nightmare on Elm Street alone.
