Suggested by a dummy on the Horror Toy thread. I noticed some truly terrifying ventriloquist dolls on an image search. But don't just limit it to dolls. List Horror films/TV or books that involve dummies too. Here is one to start us off:

You had Slappy from Goosebumps. I never thought he was that scary but everyone else seemed to... Then there was Fats from the movie Magic with Anthony Hopkins. The commercial scared the crap out of me as a kid. Lots of them, even back to a favorite movie of mine from 1945, Dead of Night. I'll have to see if I can find pics of that one.

Lots of them, even back to a favorite movie of mine from 1945, Dead of Night. I'll have to see if I can find pics of that one. This was made by Ealing studios, who created some of the most famous British comedy films. Many are now regarded as classics of their type, like the original The Ladykillers, or Passport to Pimlico.

That's funny because Dead of Night is an anthology of scary stories, but does have one "funny" one in there and it's not good. It's my least favorite story in the movie. Good movie for the most part, though.
