Mary King's Close is a group of buildings buried under later buildings on the Royal Mile, in Edinburgh Old Town, in Scotland. It was partially demolished and the remains buried in the 18th century. There are many strange events associated with it, with various ghosts supposedly awaiting the visitor.

That's cool, reminds me of a movie called As Above, So Below from 2014 about the catacombs under Paris. The pics you posted look really scary and cool, but I doubt I'd ever have the nerve to check it out in person.
