"Curse Of The Undead" is the first ever vampire western! It starts off in a small old fashioned western town with a young girl sick in bed being check on, appearing to recover, then heard screaming, only to be found dead with fang marks on her neck, along with her window shade rolling rapidly as if somebody had just rushed out through it. A wealthy drunk arrogant neighbor then builds a fence around parts of their property, trying to claim more of their property for his ranch. He even beats up their son for protesting that. The Sheriff tells him he needs to stop doing that and to remove his fences that are on the wrong side of the property line or he will be charged. The arrogant rancher does not like that and shoots their son in a gun draw. The family then offers a reward for the death of that rancher, which is accepted by a cowboy in black drifting through town. The rancher's men team up to shoot the cowboy in black, only to have the cowboy in black shoot them both instead. The cowboy in black eventually duels the arrogant rancher and wins with "I shot him first" being the arrogant rancher's last words. It then turns this dark cowboy has a dark past and is a vampire, and refuses to leave town. He even kills the Sheriff with no witnesses, and a local preacher tries to figure out how to get rid of this vampire. This is overall a good classic and a part of cinematic history. It also has good, drama, dialogue, and well developed characters. There is even a nice little shocker at the ending. Those into the classic black and white horror films should not be disappointed with this one.
