"The Heart: Final Pulse" is a 1980s style slasher film shot in the traditions of the classic "Friday the 13th," "Halloween," and "My Bloody Valentine" films. It is about a lieutenant returning from war with a bullet in heart, mending it together, with that the only thing keeping him alive, and that also turning him into a serial killer that he was not before. He blames his current condition on another returning soldier from war, Jericho. He is out to get Jericho and anybody who gets in the way. There is also an investigative reporter on the town, looking for clues to get to the bottom of local killings happening in the area so he can get a top selling story out of it. It is currently just semi-released on DVD, and only available to order through the studio's email address at rbgstudios11@yahoo.com. I am not sure why it is not more readily available than that when it is actually pretty amazing with a lot of awesome visual picture quality and effects. It also has a killer music score to it as well. The kill scenes are very graphic, bloody, and intense with hardcore beats playing on the background. The killer also does a lot of awesome moves, stunts, and throws to help make it more interesting. There is also a lot of great scenery in this film. It also has the smooth editing a lot of the 1980s films do, along with the same charm from a lot of them. There is also plenty of good drama and humorous dialogue, keeping it entertaining, and also helping to keep interest throughout the film. That is not to mention some awesome background lighting in some of the scenes, helping to make it even more intense and interesting. There is even a zany kill scene where one of the party goers gets it for accidentally pissing on the killer's shoes. There are plenty of scary, bloody, gory, but also humorous scenes in this film, like a lot of the 1980s horror films. As mentioned above, it also has the smooth editing and similar charm that a lot of the 1980s horror films have. It should appeal to those into the 1980s style horror/slasher films.
