I just looked back at "The Fog," and it is even more amazing and intense than I remembered it. It is about a very thick and bright fog covering a bay on the coast of Northern California, turning out to include the ghosts of shipwrecked mariners who were killed and robbed of their gold 100 years earlier, coming back for both what is their's and for vengeance. The fog itself looks very cool and intense, along with the ghosts' costumes, make-up, and props also looking great for pre-CGI. Those into John Carpenter's classic horror films should enjoy this one as well.
