"Blood Beach" is about a sand monster that dwells under the sands of the beach outside of L.A., dragging people down under the sands to feed off of them. The police dig through the whole beach, searching for that thing, but don't have any luck at first. They then discover an abandoned cellar under an old building, where a lot of recently killed dead bodies turn up. They then set surveillance cameras on the ceiling of that cellar with radioactive dynamite for when that thing returns. It is from 1981 and stars John Saxon as the Chief of Police, where he does a very convincing performance with that type of role as he did in the original "Black Christmas" and the original "Nightmare On Elm Street." It is overall well done and some scary stuff. It is also very artsy. This should appeal to those who are into old school done right artsy and gory creature features.
