Yes. There is a new horror film under the title, "Jack Frost," only this time, it is not about a killer snowman possessed by a serial killer's ghost, but about a Christmas demon under the name Jack Frost, who is back to seek vengeance against the living descendants of the Royal Family that tortured and killed him back when he was still a mortal. In this version, it starts with a story about Santa Claus being the King Of England back around England's Dark Ages, maybe even earlier, then having an ally who considers himself to be better than others, gets jealous of Santa Claus and the Royal Family, and starts a rebellion that leads up to an all out war. After losing too many men, including one of his sons, Santa Claus has Jack Frost captured, tortured, and killed. He then has Jack Frost's body dismembered with all different parts buried in hallow ground in different parts of the country. One of his soldiers feels disgruntled about Jack Frost's defeat and does not bury the part he was assigned to, and Jack Frost was still able to come back as a Christmas demon, looking for the rest of his parts so he can become whole again. He returns not only to do that, but to kill off the living descendants of the Royal Family, and anybody who gets in his way. This is overall some scary stuff for an indie horror film, and it is also entertaining to help it keep interest all the way through. There are also more than plenty of humorous one liners coming from the Christmas demon himself, to make it more interesting and entertaining. It is also artsy and gory with good, bright, and colorful picture quality. The Christmas demon in this one is sort of like a cross between Krampus and Jack In The Box from the British horror films. This should definitely appeal to those into Krampus, A Christmas Horror Story, Jack In The Box, Nutcracker Massacre, The Curse Of Humpty Dumpty, and the like.
