so what if they are old school the show should be called Walkind Dead: Zombie for teenage girls. Soap opera show with some of the worst acting and cache soap opera story lines ever. It is ish. Im content with all zombie stuff that has all ready been made all new zombie stuff sucks balls since 28 days later and Shaun of the Dead even Romero cant make a decent flick. Why zombies are so popular now is beyond me cuz they all suck Zombies are dead 1968-2004 RIP.

The Walking Dead is not about the zombies, it's about the people. It always has been. That's how the comic is, and that's how the show is. The landscape is that of the zombie apocalypse, but the story is about the people. It's the same as Dawn of the Dead, only stretched out to more than 3 hours.

Trailer didn't sell me. It doesn't look horrible, but doesn't look all that interesting either.

None of the characters are at all likable mainly the main dude Rick? The whole starting was a 28 days later rip off and like I said none of the people on that show can act so if its not about zombies its just a real bad soap opera.

It rips off Day of the Triffolds, actually, because it was written back in 2002 when the book was being developed by Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore. It got the same comparison back then when the movie and the book came out at similar times (in the States).
Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker... can't... act... Yeah, no.

Its not like Michael Rooker is the star tho and Norman Reedus is a cool guy but hes not that good of an actor.

This is called the Big Game ad, presumably because it will air during the Super Bowl this Sunday? Looks good though.

I don't know if it's true, but I heard a rumor that Brad Pitt wanted to walk off set several times because this movie is so terrible.

Well, if he doesn't go out on the talk shows to promote it, maybe we'll have an unofficial answer.
