I don't know why it wasn't a SyFy original to begin with.

Updated synopsis, poster and trailer.. "When the isolated U.S. military moonbase is bombarded by a rogue meteor storm, Colonel Gerard Brauchman (Christian Slater) and his small crew are cut off from Earth with their life support failing. Before long, the crew discovers the meteors harbored alien spores…and they’re replicating. Now a vicious, shape-shifting predatory life form is loose inside the crippled facility, picking off victims one by one. Locked in a desperate fight for survival, Brauchman and the terrified remaining astronauts have one final mission…keep the creature from escaping the moon and finding a new food supply on Earth." And a theatrical and VOD release date of July 26th.

Going by the posters, this movie is 90 minutes of Slater looking annoyed.

Too bad he's always in crap, I like him. Not trying to say this movie is crap, just saying that he seems to end up in bad roles...

With the stuff he's been in lately, what other faces could he possibly make?

When someone does a movie on the life of Jack Nicholson, Slater will be a shoe in to play him. I really like him, I don't know why, but I do.

Oh, Slater's actually a fine actor, just ish taste in roles the last 15 years. He could do so much better if he went into indy films, if you ask me. Revitalize his career like Mickey Rourke did.

Stranded is a good way to describe his career right about now.
