I haven't worked up the nerve to play much of either of these yet, they are really freaking scary. Both are free, and both are way scarier than a lot of paid games out there. OK, trying Nightmare House 2 again in a bit. My wife and the dog are asleep and the house is dark. I'm already scared and I haven't even started it yet.
This is truly a scary game. And for free, it's almost the best fun you can have...if only I didn't have to play it, lol.
OK, here I go. Back in a bit I hope.

Slender is just terrifying. Nightmare House sets you up for the scares. Go through two rooms with a body in them expecting it to get up or something, and nothing happens.
So, you kind of get used to them. Next time just as you're walking by it, it's up and on you. Plays a lot like Penumbra, if you've ever played that.
You should try them. Both free, and require very little resources to run.
